The Retreat is a unique destination for elopements or intimate weddings with small groups of guests.

The Retreat itself offers unique spaces such as the incredible entryway into the atrium, to capture beautiful imagery and to enjoy those special moments throughout your day.

It is also the perfect accommodation for families of the bride or groom getting married in the area, who are after that special location to relax and prepare for a wedding.

There are four rooms off the atrium containing a King or two King single beds, each with an ensuite; offering privacy and peace. The main living area with fire, dining table and kitchen spills onto the outside deck with the stunning ocean outlook. In addition, the outdoor hot tub is just bliss with views all the way to Mount Maunganui.

*When you book the Retreat you have exclusive use of the entire property.

The Retreat caters to small elopements and weddings only:

• Small wedding ceremonies or elopements (maximum guest size - 15)
• Pre-wedding bridal and groom accommodation and preparation
• Wedding party family accommodation
• Wedding pictures or 'First Look' experiences

If required, we can recommend the following local wedding operators:

• Personal chef ( there is a dedicated Retreat chef who caters for special events)
• Wedding photographer
• Wedding celebrant
