If you love hiking combined with a bit of luxury, then it's time to plan a weekend to Orokawa Bay Retreat, where you can spend a day walking and the rest of your time unwinding at the lodge or visiting local eateries and shops!
When you book Orokawa Bay Retreat you have exclusive use of the entire property. Sleeping up to 8 guests in 4 private rooms (each with ensuite) with either Super King beds or twin King Singles, it is the perfect space for a group of adventurers.
The spacious lounge and dining area offers a place for your party to relax together, and with the fully equipped kitchen you can organise your own menu or we can arrange a chef to prepare a special meal or spread.
Your hosts will arrange transport to the starting point of the Homunga track (10 minutes drive from the Retreat) and then pick up in Waihī Beach upon completion. The pick-up transport is flexible to allow you the chance to walk at your own pace or stop along the way to enjoy the beauty of the trail. Trail length is approximately 9kms and takes 3-4 hours.
For added experiences, ask your hosts about massage, beauty services or bike hire too. We're here to make your weekend unforgettable!
