Orokawa Bay Retreat is the perfect location for just that! Bike the incredible Hauraki Rail Trail and explore Waihī or Waihī Beach, then unwind in comfort at the Retreat.
We've worked with our friends at Waihī Bicycle hire to organise all your biking needs, so all you have to do is ride and take in the incredible scenery of the Karangahake Gorge. Then you have the option to keep discovering the local area or simply head back to the lodge and soak up the endless views from our outdoor hot tub or large deck. And with early check-in, an exquisite platter and wine on arrival, home-made breakfast supplies your weekend is complete.
When you book Orokawa Bay Retreat you have exclusive use of the entire property. Sleeping up to 8 guests in 4 private rooms (each with ensuite) with either Super King beds or twin King Singles, it is the perfect space for a group of adventurers.
The spacious lounge and dining area offers a place for your party to relax together, and with the fully equipped kitchen you can organise your own menu or we can arrange a chef to prepare a special meal or spread.
With a choice of standard or electric bikes, you have a full day to cover off as much of the Hauraki Rail Trail as you wish! There is also the opportunity to be dropped at a certain starting spot and ride to a final location on the trail - be sure to enquire about the different options available.
Additionally, ask your hosts about massage and beauty services or hiking transport too. We're here to make your weekend unforgettable!
